Dodgers Injury Updates: David Price, Tony Gonsolin Due To Face Batters

Having been on the 10-day injured list for just over two weeks because of a Grade 2 right hamstring strain, David Price took another step forward in his recovery before Tuesday’s game against the Seattle Mariners.

Price threw off the mound with Justin Turner in the batter’s box but not taking any swings. Turner nodded after multiple pitches, suggesting the left-hander was sharp in the exercise. Price ended the throwing session by sprinting to first base multiple times.

“I’ve seen some videos of his ‘pens, but to see him live, really good. He didn’t seem like he was holding anything back, did some PFPs as far as just running off the mound towards first,” Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said.
