Los Angeles will still get an All-Star game.
With the coronavirus pandemic wrecking havoc on the scheduling of events in 2020, the Los Angeles Dodgers will be awarded the 2022 All-Star Game to make up for the lost event this season, per the Los Angeles Times.
The Dodgers were originally set to host the league’s best players this July at Dodger Stadium. While it took until today for the event to officially be canceled, it quickly became clear during the pause in baseball activities that it would be impractical to host it this year.
