To no one’s surprise (especially Clipper Nation), Kawhi Leonard was named the Western Conference Player of the Week on Monday afternoon, his seventh time winning. His outstanding play helped the LA Clippers go 3-0 in the span of January 13 through January 19. Representing the Eastern Conference was Ben Simmons.
During the past week, Leonard has looked nearly unstoppable. During games, we have noted multiple times that he looks spry and as if his knee is not bothering him. Leonard during the 3-0 run averaged 38.0 points, 4.7 rebounds. 5.0 assists and 2.7 steals.
