Would Spanos, a longtime supporter of Republican leaders, offer a counterpoint to Trump’s criticisms, as several of his fellow NFL owners and commissioner Roger Goodell would do Saturday?
"I wholeheartedly agree with the commissioner's statement,” Spanos said in statement the team released Saturday afternoon. “The NFL and its players, more than anything, have been a force for good.
