I was a late bloomer into the world of football. I became a Chargers fan following the 2006 season when the team went 14-2 and LaDainian Tomlinson ran away with that year’s MVP honor, This wasn’t a bandwagon thing, however. In fact, I didn’t even know what that word meant. All I knew was that the jerseys were amazing, LT looked so dang cool with that blacked-out visor, and I had yet to choose my favorite football team. It was all history after that.
My first real memories of the Chargers that have solidified in my head were around the 2008 season.
