Adam Schefter reports that Chargers CB Jason Verrett has decided to undergo season-ending knee surgery and will be placed on the injured reserve.
The Chargers activated him from their physically unable to perform list back in August and he was active for the Week 1 opener when injured his knee. It is worth mentioning that he was also placed on the season-ending injured reserve last season with an ACL injury.
Verrett, 25, was taken with the No. 25 overall pick back in 2014 by the Chargers. He was in the final year of his four-year, $7.
