RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner has been linked with a move to both Chelsea and Liverpool.
Werner would prefer a move to Anfield than Stamford Bridge, according to a report in Germany.
Werner has been linked with a transfer to the Premier League since last season but his contract isn’t up until 2023.
Werner has scored 24 goals in 25 appearances for Leipzig this season and is impressing clubs across Europe with his all-round forward play.
But reports suggest that Chelsea and Liverpool are the frontrunners for his signature.
Frank Lampard’s Blues need a forward, with the futures of both Olivier Giroud and Michy Batshuayi both uncertain.
