Geoffrey Kondogbia has impressed since joining Spanish side Valencia on loan from Inter Milan in the summer, catching the eye of both Tottenham and Liverpool.
The La Liga outfit included a £22m option to sign the Frenchman on a permanent deal come the end of the season.
But the Premier League duo are waiting in the wings should they decide not to.
Kondogbia has made five starts for his new club, who sit third in the the table behind Barcelona and Sevilla.
