Lowered salary cap would affect Las Vegas Raiders in a big way in 2021

Since taking over as general manager prior to the 2019 offseason, Mike Mayock has done a tremendous job building the Las Vegas Raiders roster up the right way. He has hit on some late round draft picks, made some suave free agent moves, and has the 2020 Raiders looking like a playoff contender.

Unfortunately, with everything going on with the world in terms of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Raiders that he has worked so hard to build up could look a lot differently in 2021. Agreement was made for the floor of the salary cap for 2021 to be $175 million, which is going to cause a ripple affect not only in Vegas, but across the entire league.
