A sports agent reportedly tried to cut a deal with an Indiana University assistant basketball coach to send five-star recruit Brian Bowen to IU, according to a Yahoo Sports report published late Friday.
The report, citing emails sent between sports agent Christian Dawkins and his then-boss at ASM Sports Andy Miller in 2016, indicate Dawkins told Miller he contacted former IU assistant coach Chuck Martin seeking to send Bowen to Indiana in exchange for Martin influencing two Indiana players to sign with ASM Sports.
