LEXINGTON, Ky. — There are indicators that Kentucky will run, run, run this season.
John Calipari prefers to play fast anyway, but the roster appears built for uptempo, transition and quick buckets. Plenty of "positionless" players help make the case that this is Calipari's most athletic collection of talent in his Kentucky tenure.
In June, freshman guard Hamidou Diallo helped shape the idea of what style to expect.
"Cal's favorite quote, 'You guys want to play fast, we got to get in shape,'" Diallo told the Courier-Journal at Team USA training camp in Colorado Springs.
