Going into the season, the question was which team could challenge Alabama for the SEC title. Four weeks into the season – which means a third of the season is gone – we know the answer.
Alabama is the only team that can beat Alabama. The only way the Tide loses an SEC game is if it screws up.
The Tide clearly is the best team in the West. Georgia clearly is the best team in the East – but at least a step below the Tide on the SEC ladder. Everyone else is playing for third-best overall.
