Tom Crean brought his Georgia team, a ladder and a pair of scissors to Lexington last night, looking for an upset of John Calipari’s fifteenth-ranked Kentucky Wildcats. Crean goes home empty-handed, but not before he raved about Calipari in his postgame press conference.
“It’s so easy to take that success for granted that he has here,” Crean said in his opening remarks after the game. “Those young men get better and better constantly. What he does with their skill level, perseverance, togetherness, toughness, and getting them to buy into one another is really extraordinary. I know you guys see that on a daily basis.
