After rattling off three consecutive victories to open conference play, the Kentucky basketball program suffered its biggest home loss of the John Calipari era, falling to the Alabama Crimson Tide 85-65 on Tuesday evening. And things won’t be getting any easier for the program, as the Wildcats will now head to Auburn to take on the Tigers, who just saw five-star guard signee Sharife Cooper join the lineup after being declared eligible by the NCAA last weekend.
Sitting at 4-7 on the year, UK can’t afford to take another loss this early in the SEC schedule, especially following the team’s 1-6 start to the season.
