Titans, Vikings close football facilities after players, staff test positive for COVID-19

The Tennessee Titans and Minnesota Vikings have closed down their football facilities for the remainder of the week after multiple Titans players and staff members tested positive for COVID-19.

According to reports, three Titans players and five non-players tested positive for the virus.

Here are more details from ESPN:

The Titans, citing an “abundance of caution,” issued a statement Tuesday saying they’ve halted in-person work Tuesday. The Minnesota Vikings, who played the Titans on Sunday, did the same.

“Out of the abundance of caution, the organization has decided to work remotely today as we follow NFL protocols related to the COVID-19 virus,” the team statement said.
