Terrence Clarke unlikely to play this week, but starting to run again

Kentucky will likely be without freshman guard Terrence Clarke when it heads to Alabama on Tuesday and takes on Texas at home next Saturday.

Following UK’s 82-69 victory over LSU, head coach John Calipari told reporters that Clarke is now able to run after injuring his ankle during non-conference play, but the former five-star recruit is still not expected to return this week.

“I don’t believe he’ll play this week. I don’t believe so,” Calipari said. “But he is now able to run around. He’s been at practice, but hasn’t been able to practice. Hopefully he’ll be an addition and he’ll help us.
