Phoenix Suns Confirms Brandon Knight Out for Season after Surgery

The Phoenix Suns have announced that former Kentucky Wildcat Brandon Knight will be out for the 2017-18 season after ACL surgery.

Here is the report:

Phoenix Suns point guard Brandon Knight underwent knee surgery on a torn ACL in his left knee and will miss the 2017-18 season, the team announced Friday.

Knight tore the ACL playing basketball in Miami last month. It was suspected at the time that he could miss the season. The Suns held out hope, but confirmed the news after the operation.

They could eventually apply for an injury exception in hopes of replacing Knight, the top reserve behind Eric Bledsoe and Devin Booker in the backcourt.
