As fun as it has been to watch this group of seniors on the football team develop and play over the years, Kentucky fans will only have one more opportunity to see them take the field as Wildcats.
But don’t think it’s just the Big Blue Nation getting emotional about the upcoming departures.
During his weekly radio show, Kentucky football head coach Mark Stoops was asked about getting to coach this group of seniors one last time, and Stoops couldn’t help but get choked up about having to say goodbye following the Citrus Bowl.
“That senior group there, they are definitely special,” Stoops said.
