Was Kylin Hill’s final game as a Mississippi State Bulldog the 24-2 loss to Kentucky? Maybe so.
The First Team All-SEC running back was suspended for last week’s game vs. Texas A&M, reportedly because of an outburst following the Bulldogs’ loss to Kentucky, sources tell Sports Illustrated’s Ross Dellenger. Yesterday, Mike Leach said Hill was still “unavailable,” and now, AL.com’s Matt Zenitz is reporting Hill is expected to opt out of the remainder of the season to prepare for the NFL Draft. Losses to Kentucky do have a way of breaking your spirit.
Last year, Hill ran for 1,350 yards and 10 touchdowns on 242 carries.
