The Kentucky Wildcats host Evansville on Tuesday, but they’ll likely do so without EJ Montgomery.
On Monday, head coach John Calipari met with the media to preview Tuesday’s clash with the Purple Aces, who are led by former Wildcat Walter McCartney.
When asked about Montgomery, Calipari said the sophomore big man is in a walking boot and is “doubtful” to play Tuesday. Montgomery, who is still listed as day-to-day with a right ankle injury, hasn’t even practiced since injuring the ankle last Tuesday vs. Michigan State, and he missed Friday’s win over EKU.
