The Kentucky Wildcats are bringing back Eddie Gran, though not in an official assistant coaching role.
According to Nick Roush of KSR, Gran is coming back to Kentucky in an off-field administrative position.
Gran will not be one of the 10 designated assistant coaches. His role will be administrative, mirroring a quality control coach or director of player personnel’s duties. KSR expects the university to officially announce the addition Friday.
Gran came to Kentucky from the Cincinnati Bearcats back in 2016. During his time in Lexington, the Wildcats had a 10-win season, beat Florida in The Swamp and took down Tennessee in Knoxville.
