The Chicago Tribune is reporting that DeWayne Peevy is one of two finalists for the DePaul athletic director job. One source says Peevy will be offered the job, while another said no decision has been made. The other leading candidate is Northwestern’s Mike Polisky.
Peevy has been with UK for twelve years, six in his current role as Deputy Director of Athletics. Prior to coming to Lexington, he worked with the Southeastern Conference. He has been an integral part of shaping the John Calipari Era through media relations, marketing, and scheduling and is the liaison to the SEC and SEC Network offices.
