Alabama has essentially been eliminated from the College Football Playoff race following Saturday’s loss to Auburn in the Iron Bowl.
The Crimson Tide have dropped to No. 12 in the new College Football Playoff rankings that were released earlier tonight.
The top four remain unchanged, with Utah making a move up to No. 5.
