Earlier today, SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey spoke with reporters on a conference call for 45 minutes about the league’s response to the coronavirus outbreak. A lot of the news we’ve already heard, but there were some new nuggets to pass along. Here’s a quick rundown.
The SEC hasn’t forced schools to cancel spring practice yet, but UK already did
Yesterday, the SEC announced that all spring sports have been canceled, including spring games and Pro Days; however, the decision to hold team practices after April 15 is still in the hands of each university — for now.
