Slate: Is it sports season yet?

Welcome to Wednesday in Wildcatland. It’s nearing the end of July, and while the weather is unseasonably comfortable in the Land of Purple, there is precious little happening around here.

The only news to report for today is that Wyatt Hubert earned a spot on the watch list for the 2019 Bronko Nagurski Award. The Nagurski Award honors the nation’s most outstanding defensive player, and mere inclusion on the watch list is solid honor for the rising sophomore.

Check back this afternoon, we’ve got an episode of Bring on the PodCats for you, featuring K-State head soccer coach Mike Dibbini.
