While I really don’t like the idea of eight postseason teams in each league, especially when there’s only 15 total teams in each league, I have to say that I’ve really enjoyed the playoffs so far. Maybe that’s just because I enjoy baseball and I’d watch just about anything after only getting two months worth of it, but here I am, liking the games. But let’s be real here, the ball is juiced more than it was during the regular season. I think we can all agree on that at least. Still, there have been compelling matchups and even though nobody wants to see the Astros winning (honestly, I’m not even sure Astros fans really want to see it this year), the series between the Yankees and Rays has been an awful lot of fun and Dodgers/Padres was somehow really compelling even in a sweep by the Dodgers.
