Fans visiting the Kansas City Chiefs at training camp in St. Joseph on Wednesday won’t see two of the team’s best players in action with the unfortunate word that both Mitchell Schwartz and Tyreek Hill aren’t expected to practice.
For Schwartz, he’s missed two straight days with a back that “locked up” on him, a rare such occurrence for the NFL’s reigning iron man. Schwartz holds the league’s active record for most consecutive snaps so any time missed is a surprise. Of course, this early in training camp, attendance means very little for such an excellent veteran.
