Last week, Kansas City Chiefs defensive end Frank Clark missed every team practice during the week with what the injury report just deemed “Illness” as the team prepared to visit the New England Patriots on Sunday afternoon in Week 14.
Despite that, Clark traveled with the team to Foxborough and had an absolute game. He finished the contest with 1 sack, 4 tackles, plenty of hurries, and was still on the field for 46% of the snaps.
That is no Michael Jordan “Flu Game” but it is still impressive for a player who told reporters after the game he had visited the hospital during the week after losing 12 pounds.
