The Iowa football team took care of business last Saturday shutting out Rutgers 30-0 at home.
Now, the Hawks come into week three at 2-0 (1-0 Big Ten). This week brings a new challenge, facing in-state rival Iowa State in Ames, and to spice things up a bit, ESPN College Gameday is making its first-ever appearance in the state of Iowa.
All I gotta say is, it’s about time!
The Hawks have won the last four meetings with the Cyclones.
Last season Iowa won 13-3. In 2017, it went to OT and the Hawks again came away with a win 44-41, and in 2016 The Hawks put away the Cyclones with a convincing win 42-3.
