They’ll also need to limit the damage caused by a few key Big Ten players. As we saw last year, that can be easier said than done, and sometimes, players can come out of nowhere to beat up on the Iowa football team. During last season, the Iowa football team got tore apart by Isaiah Bowser of Northwestern and Terry Wright of Purdue, and both of those games ultimately resulted in losses.
While those guys weren’t household names, they made sure Iowa football fans everywhere knew who they were.
