For the first time in quite some time, the Iowa football team’s 2019 home schedule is fairly weak in terms of the quality of opponents. Their road schedule is extremely challenging with road trips to Ames, Ann Arbor, Madison, and Lincoln.
Several of the game times have already been announced with the opener against Miami (Ohio) set for a 6:30 pm kickoff. It’s kind of strange to make this one a night game given the opponent, but it should still be a fun atmosphere for fans begging for Hawkeye football to return.
The only other home game times that are known right now are Rutgers in Week 2 and Purdue Week 8 with both of those set for an 11 am kickoff time.
