The offseason has arrived sooner than any of them wanted. The Indianapolis Colts, from owner Jim Irsay to general manager Chris Ballard to coach Frank Reich and all of his players believed they had a team capable of accomplishing something special this season.
They came up short.
While 11 regular-season wins and a well-fought playoff game on the road against one of the best teams in the NFL no doubt constitutes a solid season -- something to be proud of for sure -- it's not what any of them dreamed of when the season began. They did not accomplish their primary goal.
