Colts Cast: Colts defense comes alive in 19-13 road win over Chiefs

The Indianapolis Colts had no chance to take a Week 5 win at Arrowhead against the Kansas City Chiefs. Nationally, locally, anywhere. Except that they did, and they executed the perfect gameplan to achieve an improbable win.

The Colts’ ‘feast or famine’ pass rush showed up in a major way sacking Patrick Mahomes four times and created pressure on him all night long. The running game was as efficient as it’s ever been, the offensive line was dominant, and Jacoby Brissett was very good. And if you can believe this, the Colts won by only getting in the end zone once, on the road, against a team that hadn’t score fewer than 26 points in two years.
