Colts badly need young CB Isaiah Rodgers to grow up quickly after first interception

INDIANAPOLIS — The Colts have seen Isaiah Rodgers make a play like the one he made against the Texans before.

Racing up the sideline, closing on a throw enough to undercut the receiver, leaping and getting both hands on the ball.

The last time Rodgers made a play like that, he wasn’t able to hold on to an interception of Josh Allen against Buffalo in the playoffs. This time, Rodgers made the grab, twisting the knife into the Texans in Sunday’s blowout win.

“That’s the first thing pretty much everyone said on the sideline,” Rodgers said.
