TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Fourteen Indiana State football players were honored with the Missouri Valley Football Conference's President's Council Academic Excellence Award highlighting 79 Sycamores recognized overall as the conference announced its 2024 academic awards on Thursday.
Korbin Allen, Maddix Blackwell, Geoffrey Brown, Ethan Chambers, James Mallory, Kendrick Milford, Garret Ollendieck, JP Osafo, Lance Rees, Matthew Ross, Jack Sherman, Joey Shew, Joseph Sopiarz, and Blake Surface were honored with the President's Council Academic Excellence Award as Indiana State recorded the most student-athletes in the league to achieve the honor.
