Strong Offense Pushes Toledo Past Indiana State

DAYTON, Ohio – The Toledo offense proved too much to overcome for Indiana State on Saturday morning, as the Rockets earned a 3-0 victory.

Toledo won in straight sets thanks to consistent offensive plays, giving them the 3-0 win [25-16, 25-23, 25-16].

Offensively, Indiana State hit .164 for the match with 36 kills while Toledo ended-up hitting .336 with 49 kills. Freshman tallied the most kills for the blue and white, recording 10 as well as seven digs. Toledo had two athletes with 16 kills.

On the defensive side, ISU recorded more digs than the Rockets by a margin of 53-50 with libero once again finishing with the most digs for the Trees at 17.
