Indiana Pacers fans have long been excited about Johnny Furphy's potential. And on Wednesday night, he gave another reason for fans to look forward to what he can do in Indiana for the long run.
During a 115-101 loss to the Toronto Raptors, Furphy had one of the best games of his career at the NBA level. In 26 minutes, the Australian native scored a 10-point, 11-rebound double-double (the first of his career) while shooting 3-for-6 from the field. He also recorded two assists and two blocks.
Not only were his stats noteworthy, but Furphy also passed the eye test.
