BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Freshman quarterback was named the IU Scholar-Athlete of the Month for April.
"He takes pride in his academics as well as athletics and will put in the work that is needed to succeed," said , IU's assistant director of academic services for football.
Williams II, an early enrollee from Macon, Ga., was an all-state selection and a two-time Region 7A Offensive Player of the Year at Mount de Sales Academy.
