BLOOMINGTON, Ind.— The College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) announced their Academic All-American honorees on Wednesday afternoon. Distance runner Ben Veatch of Indiana Track & Field earned third team accolades.
The 2019-2020 Academic All-American Cross Country and Track & Field Teams, selected by CoSIDA, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
The rising redshirt senior boasted a 3.93 GPA while majoring in exercise science.
On the oval, Veatch helped the men's squad to a Big Ten Championship after taking second in the 3000m and 5000m at the indoor championships this past February.
