Second Half Rally Lifts Indiana Over Northwestern, 2-1

EVANSTON, Ill. – The Indiana Hoosiers (4-2-1) scored two goals in the second half to defeat the Northwestern Wildcats (2-4-2) by a final tally of 2-1 at Martin Stadium on Tuesday night.

KEY MOMENTS
• Northwestern found the back of the net in the opening 10 minutes when a long, dribbling pass from sophomore forward Justin Weiss was able to leak through the defense to a streaking Vicente Castro. The junior midfielder was able to beat IU junior keeper in a one-on-one situation to score in the seventh minute.
• Indiana found the equalizer early in the second half off a goal kick.
