Langford Honored By Big Ten For Second Time This Season

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana University freshman guard Romeo Langford has been named Co-Freshman of the Week by the Big Ten. It is the second time he has been honored by the league this season. He shares the award this week with Michigan's Ignas Brazdeikis. The New Albany native also was honored on November 19.

Last week, Langford averaged 19 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and shot 50 percent from the field in leading IU to two comeback wins over Penn State and Louisville. Against Penn State, IU trailed 9-0 and behind Langford's 15 first half points, were able to pull ahead at halftime 34-30, before holding on for the win.
