Much has been said about the Hoosiers surprising 7-2 record this far. But the biggest narrative is that they haven’t beaten anybody good. Their best win is either a road win at Maryland or at Nebraska. Neither one of those teams is very good right now, but Indiana did take care of business and beat them.
It all changes this week as the Hoosiers travel over to Happy Valley to take on the ninth-ranked Nittany Lions. Penn State is coming off a tough loss at Minnesota and their playoff and conference championship hopes are hanging by a thread.
