That knowledge wasn’t good enough as ISU escaped with a 17-12 Missouri Valley Football Conference victory after starting quarterback Brady Davis suffered a second-quarter knee injury.
Robinson toted the football 17 times for 91 yards in the second half and finished with 155 yards on 29 carries for his sixth 100-yard game of the season.
Taylor intercepted a Missouri State pass and broke up five others along with making three solo tackles. Taylor leads the Valley with 16 pass break ups on the season.
Offensive pains: Two key Redbird offensive players, Davis and tailback Jeff Proctor, left the game with knee injuries.
