Jayson Kent of Oak Forest High School became Bradley’s first men’s basketball verbal commitment of the spring on Thursday.

The 6-foot-7, 190-pound small forward averaged 17.8 points and 5.5 rebounds last season for Oak Forest. He shot 43.4% from 3-point range (72-for-166), 48.9% from the field overall and 82% from the line. Kent scored more than 1,000 points in his high school career.

Kent, who played AAU ball for Next Level 24 and Mac Irvin Fire, visited Bradley for the Missouri State and Loyola games in February.
