Bradley held off a late charge by Weber State on Sunday to capture fifth place in the Islands of the Bahamas Showcase with a 70-64 victory.
BU (4-1) was led by Darrell Brown’s 23 points, a 40-24 rebounding bulge and 6-for-6 on free throws in the final 26 seconds.
The Braves led by 38-26 at halftime, but the Wildcats fought back to tie it at 57 with 4:28 left. But Bradley responded with a 7-0 run -- five of the points by Brown -- and would not relinquish the lead.
Weber cut it to two twice in the final minute.
