NORMAL, Ill. – Illinois State upcoming sophomores Ryan Ashenbremer, Jaclyn Greci, and Kameesha Smith will face some of the best young talent in the country this weekend, when the trio travels to Bloomington, Indiana, to compete in the USATF Junior Outdoor Championships.
Indiana will serve as the host of the three-day meet, which will take place at the Hayes Track at the Hough Complex Friday thru Sunday. Nearly 500 collegiate and high school track and field stars, ages 14-19, are registered to compete. Featuring the nation's top junior athletes competing for a spot on Team USA, the championships serve as the selection meet for the IAAF World U20 Championships to be held in Tampere, Finland, July 10-15.
