ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Katelynn Flaherty scored 27 points, Hailey Brown and Hallie Thome had double-doubles and No. 19 Michigan continued the best start in school history with an 86-42 win over Illinois on Saturday night.

Brown had 17 points and 14 rebounds and Thome had 13 points and 11 rebounds to give the Wolverines (17-4, 6-2 Big Ten) two players with double-doubles in the same game since November of 2014. Nicole Munger added 14 points.

After the Illini (9-12, 0-7) scored the first five points of the game, Michigan went on a 21-2 run that included back-to-back 3-pointers by Flaherty, who was 5 of 8 behind the arc.
