After appearing in just 11 snaps in one game over the course of two seasons as an Illini, wide receiver Edwin Carter announced his intent to enter the NCAA transfer portal Monday evening on Twitter.
The former three-star recruit took both his catches in the 2018 matchup against Western Illinois to the house before suffering a season-ending knee injury on the second.
