Idaho finished its non-conference schedule with a record of 3-5-1, where it played against three opponents form the Pac-12, two of which were ranked in the top-25 in the country.
Portland State went 2-5-0 in its non-conference schedule. They also played two common opponents from Idaho’s non-conference — Oregon and Seattle University. Portland State lost to both schools — 0-5 against Oregon and 0-3 against Seattle. Idaho also lost to Oregon 0-2, and came back to win against Seattle in overtime 3-2
Idaho has an all-time record of 7-5-0 against Portland State, but since both schools have been in the Big Sky, they hold an even record with each other of 2-2-0.
