SEATTLE — Idaho men's tennis competed at Tennis Center at Sand Point against the Redhawks of Seattle University and left victorious in 7-0 shut out Sunday afternoon.
Idaho (3-4, 0-2 Big Sky) posted two wins on courts No. 2 and No. 3 to earn an early 1-0 lead. In singles action, the Vandals swept all six matches to clinch the 7-0 shutout. On three courts, Valentin Popescu, Bruno Casino and Peter Shin had close sets, but Seattle was unable to rally a comeback.
